The layout of the new website is based on website analytics from the current website, with an emphasis on what families look for first. In addition to the thoughtful navigation and design, a number of new features have been added to the site, including enhanced language translation and a news hub where visitors can read about the latest happenings in the district and school communities, including student and staff achievements, news, and much more.

Dynamic Homepage

Designed to showcase notable upcoming events, newstories, and important information for our families. Check in each week  to see what is happening in our district! 

The first phase of the redesign included the district homepage as well as several departments, including Transportation, and Welcome Services. The overhaul of the entire district, which includes more than 100 school websites, will be a multi-year effort with a continued intentional focus on the user experience.

We will continue adding new ways for families to communicate directly with us on how we can continue improving the experience, and allow the Boston Public Schools website be the ideal place find all information relating to our district.
